About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will assist in delivering care to patients, managing patient care programs, and contributing to the daily operations of the pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to patients and customers.
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to maintain health outcomes.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve better outcomes and align with the company purpose.
- Foster a culture of enthusiasm, energy, and pride within the pharmacy.
- Administer patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Support inventory and workflow management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including availability for nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.

- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Type: Part-time, on-site.
- Pay: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
- Status: Paid internship.
