Pharmacy Intern

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role focuses on maintaining a safe, efficient pharmacy environment while helping patients manage their health through various care programs.

What you'll do#

• Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
• Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
• Assist in patient safety, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
• Strive to provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• Possession of, or in the process of obtaining, valid intern or technician licensure as required by the state.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity.
• Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
