About the role#
The Clinical Quality Evolution Fellowship is a one-year, post-graduate program based at the corporate office in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. This fellowship immerses two pharmacists in the corporate pharmacy setting, focusing on clinical decision support and quality standards. The program runs from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028. It aims to develop leadership skills and provide hands-on experience in pharmacy practice management.
What you'll do#
- Conduct clinical research to provide evidence-based recommendations for cross-functional projects.
- Review marketing materials to ensure clinical accuracy.
- Support the implementation of regulatory and quality standards, including nonsterile compounding, accreditation, hazardous drug handling, and REMS programs.
- Build a professional network of business leaders and colleagues across the company.
- Precept final-year student pharmacists and collaborate with local pharmacy residents.
- Present an ACPE-accredited continuing education program.
- Staff a retail pharmacy location one day per week to maintain insight into store operations and pharmacist workflow.
What you'll need#
- PharmD candidate from an ACPE-accredited program.
- Current pharmacist licensure or eligibility for licensure in Rhode Island.
- Ability to commute to or relocate to Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
- Strong writing ability and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of drug information resources, clinical trial data, and statistical analysis.
- Effective communication, presentation, and clinical research skills.
- Accountability, professionalism, and a high level of attention to detail.
- A desire to learn and receptiveness to feedback.
- A background in Community Pharmacy Practice is preferred.
