About the role#
This internship provides college students with an 8-10 week development experience. You will explore the insurance industry and learn how different divisions contribute to organizational success. The program focuses on gaining business insight and developing your professional skills through hands-on work.
What you'll do#
- Learn about insurance, industry workflows, and various company divisions.
- Build analytical, technical, and decision-making skills through formal and informal training.
- Complete special projects that assist your department in its mission.
- Finish all required training modules.
- Network with senior leaders, experienced teammates, and other interns.
- Receive regular feedback on your performance throughout the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or advanced degree program in Insurance, Risk Management, Business, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain professional composure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Interest in pursuing a career in insurance services.
- Previous work or internship experience.
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude.
