About the role#
We are hiring a Systems Engineering Intern to join our team in Salt Lake City. This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling start date. You will work on-site to support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Analyze system requirements from end users and systems.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Conduct tests and document your findings.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware or software troubleshooting techniques.
- Create and deliver presentations to share design activity plans and status updates with internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering at an accredited university.
- Coursework or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, or systems analysis and design.
- Background in system performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and Rhapsody.
Location & details#
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours of work every 14 days with every other Friday off.
