About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027, you will join our team to work on enterprise platforms, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure management. This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Austin, Texas. You will receive mentorship and support to help you develop your professional skills while working on real projects.
What you'll do#
- Develop and manage enterprise platforms, deployment pipelines, and security and quality monitoring.
- Build tools to automate tasks and maintain infrastructure platforms on public and private clouds.
- Create automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and ongoing support processes.
- Document new development, procedures, and test plans.
- Help develop and follow best practices, security, and engineering standards.
- Build tools and pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of software.
- Automate code packaging, deployment, and configuration management.
- Solicit feedback from delivery and operations teams to optimize engineering throughput and quality.
- Track system and service performance across all environments.
- Use AI tools to assist in productivity, testing, and automation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in computer science or a related field.
- Coursework in software development, systems, networking, and security.
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems, containers, and databases.
- Proficiency with source code, build, deploy, orchestration, and configuration management tools.
- Ability to write code and scripts in at least one high-level programming language.
- Familiarity with public cloud architecture, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile concepts such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Interest in building secure, resilient applications and measuring performance metrics.
- Experience or familiarity with AI tools for development and testing.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
