About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2027, you will join our team to work on enterprise platforms and infrastructure. You will be paired with a mentor and a team of supporters to guide your professional development. This role focuses on building tools, automating manual processes, and ensuring the reliability of our systems in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Develop and manage enterprise platforms, deployment pipelines, and security monitoring.
- Build tools to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and code deployment.
- Maintain existing infrastructure platforms on public and private clouds.
- Document new development, technical procedures, and test plans.
- Help establish and follow engineering best practices and security standards.
- Solicit feedback from operations teams to optimize software delivery and quality.
- Track system and service performance across all environments.
- Use AI tools to assist in productivity, testing, and automation tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Completed coursework in software development, systems, networking, and security.
- Experience with Windows and Linux systems, containers, and databases.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language.
- Experience with source code, build, deployment, orchestration, and configuration management tools.
- Familiarity with public cloud architecture, preferably AWS.
- Understanding of Agile concepts such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to clearly articulate thoughts and processes in group settings.
- Interest in building secure, resilient applications and measuring system performance.
