About the role#
Corteva Agriscience is hiring an R & D Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work in an industrial research setting alongside scientists and technical experts in Indianapolis. This role focuses on materials science and product development.
What you'll do#
- Work on a product development project related to fields like chemical engineering, polymer synthesis, agricultural applications, or materials characterization.
- Manage all research phases, including planning, preparation, calibration, application, evaluation, and data analysis.
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to the company safety culture.
- Make observations, interpret your data, and draw scientific conclusions.
- Present your project progress throughout the summer and prepare a final poster for colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate program for Chemistry, Material Science, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May and August.
