About the role#
Corteva Agriscience is looking for students to join our Research and Development organization in Indianapolis. This is a full-time internship where you will work alongside experienced scientists and technical experts. You will build your skills and contribute to projects within the computer and data science space.
What you'll do#
- Work on projects involving automation, software engineering, machine learning, database building, visualization, statistics, geospatial analysis, or mathematical modeling.
- Meet with business users to gather requirements and identify ways to improve internal tools and workflows.
- Implement AI and analytics to support data-driven decisions.
- Develop AI-enabled solutions that use historical data to manage work more effectively.
- Integrate data from multiple sources to improve reporting, dashboards, and chatbot capabilities.
- Enhance internal tools by automating workflows and reducing manual effort.
- Use geographic information systems to develop new data products.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Automation, or a related field.
- Completion of at least two full years of undergraduate-level computer science or data science curriculum, including lab courses.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong technical data skills and the ability to communicate with business stakeholders.
- A problem-solving mindset and curiosity.
- Interest or experience in data engineering, data pipelines, cloud platforms, version control, or CI/CD practices.
- Experience with R, Python, cloud computing (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and visualization packages is helpful.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- You must be able to relocate to Indianapolis for the duration of the internship.
- This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
- Work modality is on-site.
