About the role#
The Engineering Intern is a temporary role focused on building and operating digital solutions. You will work within a cross-functional product team to gain practical experience while developing your technical and professional capabilities. This position is a full-time commitment for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete engineering assignments with a focus on code quality, security, reliability, and maintainability.
- Apply software engineering fundamentals while learning about cloud-native development, DevSecOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Contribute to software design, testing, automation, deployment, and support activities.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to build trusted working relationships.
- Use AI-enabled engineering tools and Agentic AI patterns under supervision to improve your productivity and learning.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and technical discussions to support team effectiveness.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Completed coursework in programming, algorithms, data structures, or software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience developing software through academic projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or personal research.
- Proficiency with at least one modern programming language or development framework.
- Familiarity with Git-based source control and Agile development workflows.
- A demonstrated ability to seek feedback, adapt to new technical concepts, and solve routine problems.
