About the role#
This internship supports the New Markets team at Compeer Financial. You will work on lending and product development programs, including the GroundBreakers initiative for young, beginning, and small farmers. The role involves research, data analysis, and documentation to help us compare our results against industry standards.
What you'll do#
- Assist with projects related to New Markets lending and product development.
- Research programs and practices used by other Farm Credit associations and financial institutions.
- Review written reports for federal programs from agencies like the USDA and FSA.
- Summarize program details and criteria to evaluate our current offerings.
- Analyze the FCA YBS Annual Report and compare findings with Compeer results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or associate's degree program focusing on agricultural business, business administration, finance, economics, or data science.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

- Term: Summer 2027.
