About the role#
The Finance & Commercial MBA Development Program (FCMP) is a leadership development track designed to prepare MBA students for senior management roles. The summer internship serves as a key entry point to the two-year, full-time rotational program. Interns spend 10-12 weeks at corporate headquarters, gaining exposure to business operations and interacting with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Complete a structured assignment within the finance or commercial business units.
- Attend training sessions, social events, and networking opportunities with program alumni and company executives.
- Build a professional network across various departments, including Upstream, Midstream, Downstream, and Energy Transition.
- Observe the full-time program structure to understand potential future career paths in areas such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Treasury, and Strategy.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program.
- At least 3 years of pre-MBA work experience.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is not available).
- Strong analytical skills and a solid grasp of finance and accounting principles.
- Demonstrated leadership potential, maturity, and communication skills.
- A passion for the energy industry and the flexibility to work across diverse business units.
