2025-2026 Land Full Time (Returning Intern)

About the role#

This is a full-time position for returning interns to join the Land organization. You will support strategic business decisions by managing land-related agreements and ownership matters essential to oil and gas operations.

What you'll do#

• Negotiate and draft agreements with partners and landowners regarding exploration and production activities.
• Research and analyze title documentation for exploration, development, and well operations.
• Provide land expertise to cross-functional teams, including Legal, Finance, and Operations.
• Engage with federal and state agencies on regulatory matters.
• Manage surface land matters, including access, water, fencing, and the resolution of surface damage claims.
• Review third-party contracts to ensure alignment with company standards.

• Locations: Houston, TX; Midland, TX; Covington, LA; or Greeley, CO.
• Modality: On-site.
• Salary: $103,000 - $122,000 per year, determined by degree level and discipline.
• Eligible majors: Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Political Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Communications, and Human Resources.
