About the role#
Cerity Partners is hiring Investment Office Interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will join our Central Solutions team and work within our Investment Management, Public Market Research, or Private Research groups. This internship provides direct exposure to the institutional investment marketplace, multi-asset class portfolio management, and various investment strategies. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on asset classes and capital markets.
- Write clear reports detailing your analysis.
- Provide data and analysis for the CIO, Head of Solutions, Head of Investment Management, Head of Research, and other firm leaders.
- Attend research calls and meetings with investment managers and distribute meeting notes.
- Build and use AI tools to assist with research, drafting, and data analysis.
- Manage databases, spreadsheets, and models to track client portfolio exposures.
- Partner with your team to complete a financial planning or investment research project.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate degree with a strong academic record, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
- Genuine interest in public and private capital markets and portfolio management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Effective presentation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with mainstream AI tools.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to professional integrity and confidentiality.
- Experience with Bloomberg or Morningstar is a plus.
