About the role#
CenterPoint Energy is seeking a Gas Engineering Intern for the Summer 2026 term in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This full-time, on-site internship provides an opportunity to support the engineering team with various project-based tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist designers with project design activities.
- Research the status of public improvement projects.
- Maintain and update project status information in Access databases and Excel spreadsheets.
- Compile and provide project completion data for public improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing an ABET accredited Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Preference is given to students at the sophomore, junior, or senior level.
- A strong GPA is preferred.
- No previous experience is required.
