About the role#
CenterPoint Energy is hiring for a Gas Engineering Co-op for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Houston, Texas. You will work directly with our engineering teams to support natural gas infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with ongoing engineering projects and daily initiatives.
- Conduct data analysis and create reports to support project goals.
- Support the design and implementation of gas systems.
- Participate in team meetings and share your ideas.
- Ensure all work meets company safety standards.
What you'll need#
- Current education in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members.
