    About the role#

    CenterPoint Energy is seeking a Gas Engineering Co-op for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site opportunity based in Houston, Texas, for students pursuing degrees in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with engineering projects and initiatives.
    • Conduct data analysis and reporting.
    • Support the design and implementation of systems.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a degree in engineering or a related field.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • A strong commitment to safety and reliability.
