    About the role#

    This internship is a paid, full-time opportunity within the 24-bed Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai. The program begins in January 2027 and spans 8 weeks. It includes the Essentials of Critical Care Orientation (ECCO) through the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Participants must complete both electronic coursework and hands-on training. Please note that this position requires an 18-month work commitment on the unit following the completion of the internship.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform careful assessments of critical conditions.
    • Plan and implement individualized patient care based on observations.
    • Administer medications and therapeutic agents necessary to implement treatment.
    • Initiate emergency procedures when indicated.
    • Provide care and patient education on disease prevention and restorative measures.

    What you'll need#

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN or higher degree.
    • Valid California State RN License.
    • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support certification with an expiration date at least 60 days from the hire date.
    • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute RN experience.
