About the role#
CED offers a paid, 10 to 12 week internship for students interested in sales and management within the electrical distribution industry. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship to build a working knowledge of our business operations. This program is full-time and follows a rolling schedule.
What you'll do#
- Learn every aspect of the electrical distribution field.
- Perform warehouse tasks such as shipping and receiving products.
- Manage counter sales and build relationships with our customers.
- Complete special projects, including market sales research and customer analysis.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- A current, valid driver license with a clean record is required.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Electrical Engineering.
Location & details#
This is an on-site position. We are recruiting for roles in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as locations throughout Arkansas, Kansas, and Nebraska. Work environments include warehouses, offices, and external sites, which may involve physical tasks like lifting and standing.
