About the role#
We are looking for a Database Administrator Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work with our database environments, data integration solutions, and data warehouse systems. This role focuses on learning how our architectures and technologies interact within our data services framework.
What you'll do#
- Design and maintain logical and physical databases.
- Manage mirroring, SQL reporting, backups, restores, and failovers.
- Perform tuning and optimization, including work with stored procedures and triggers.
- Participate in data modeling and other data initiatives.
- Collaborate with developers to provide data services for new and existing applications.
- Design, develop, and support ETL processes to move and transform data.
- Define requirements and design data-related solutions.
- Create complex reports using SQL Server Reporting and Analysis Services.
- Contribute to business process improvement.
- Communicate models to IT and business teams.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Continue your education and training to build your knowledge base.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
- Familiarity with data architecture and ETL standards.
- Experience with SQL.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.

- This is a full-time, remote position for the summer of 2027.
- The role is based on the first shift.
