About the role#
CCI Systems is looking for a Database Administrator Intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, remote role. You will learn how our systems, architectures, and integrations interact within our data services framework. You will assist with production and non-production database environments, data integration solutions, and data warehouses.
What you'll do#
- Design and maintain logical and physical databases.
- Handle mirroring, SQL reporting, backups, restores, and failovers.
- Perform tuning and optimization, and work with stored procedures and triggers.
- Participate in data modeling and data initiatives for new and existing systems.
- Collaborate with developers to provide data services for applications.
- Design, develop, and support ETL processes to move and transform data.
- Define requirements and design data-related solutions.
- Create reports using SQL Server Reporting and Analysis Services.
- Improve business processes and communicate data models to teams.
- Protect company information and build your skills through training.
What you'll need#
- You are working toward a four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems.
- Familiarity with data architecture and ETL standards.
- Experience working with SQL.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- This is a remote, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on the first shift.
