About the role#
This is a part-time internship based in Seguin, Texas. You will work on-site at our engine assembly plant for 20 hours per week. The program runs from Fall 2026 through Winter 2027. This position is paid, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What you'll do#
- Build knowledge of Caterpillar products, services, and customers.
- Develop professional skills through hands-on technical training.
- Collaborate with experts in product development, marketing, sales, and dealer management.
- Participate in rotational assignments to learn about company strategy and services.
- Manage an assigned territory and act as a connection between dealers and Caterpillar.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at a 4-year university in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, Communications, Public Health, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 12 credit hours before the program starts.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 with no rounding.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
