About the role#
The Manufacturing and Supply Chain Internship is a 12-week, full-time program designed to provide students with hands-on experience alongside manufacturing professionals. Interns work on project-based assignments, network with company leadership, and develop business skills through team collaboration and performance evaluations. This is a paid, on-site position.
What you'll do#
Interns contribute to diverse projects across manufacturing engineering, quality, and automation. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support equipment reliability, facility processes, and engineering modifications.
- Analyze non-conformance data and maintain quality system documentation to support internal and external audits.
- Investigate root causes for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collect and research data regarding customer experiences with robotic platforms.
- Assist in the verification, validation, and testing of software and hardware for robotic tools.
- Conduct presentations and participate in performance evaluations to measure project success.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a 4-year university pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer, or Civil Engineering.
- Completion of at least 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate within a diverse team environment.
