About the role#
This is a 6-month, full-time co-op position based at our headquarters in Camden, New Jersey. You will work 40 hours per week within our Research & Development team. This program offers the chance to work on projects for brands such as Campbell’s, Goldfish, V8, and Pepperidge Farm while receiving mentorship from experienced team members.
What you'll do#
- Develop bench top prototypes in the kitchen and manage scale-ups in the pilot plant.
- Apply experimental designs and data analysis to solve technical challenges.
- Participate in and lead product tastings.
- Collaborate with immediate and cross-functional team members.
- Lead an individual project and present your findings to the R&D organization.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in Food Science, Nutrition, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture, or Business Administration.
- Completion of at least one semester of core coursework in your program.
- Ability to return to school for at least one semester following the co-op.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Willingness to handle all food types, including meats and common allergens.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- No employer sponsorship required for employment in the United States.
