About the role#
This co-op position offers hands-on experience working with enterprise-scale data infrastructure. You will support the transition from Snowflake to Databricks while gaining practical exposure to cloud and SaaS reporting environments. You will work within an Agile team to build reporting solutions and assist in the administration of analytics platforms.
What you'll do#
- Determine the best use of DirectQuery or Import modes for table ingestion in Power Query.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to build enterprise reporting.
- Research and test options to improve reporting development and validation.
- Document model schemas, API integrations, and AI governance standards.
- Assist in the day-to-day administration of analytics and AI platforms, including monitoring platform health and troubleshooting data refreshes.
- Partner with senior engineers to perform root-cause analysis and maintain support documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current graduate student in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Foundational programming skills in writing moderately complex SQL.
- Familiarity with AI concepts through coursework or personal projects.
- Strong interest in cloud technologies, SaaS platforms, and system operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical curiosity.
- Ability to work in a team-based environment and document processes clearly.
