    About the role#

    CASA DE LA FAMILIA is looking for undergraduate students to complete internship hours. You will work with the events department to provide administrative support to the Events Manager. This is a non-paid position requiring a commitment of at least 10 hours per week for a duration of 6 months.

    What you'll do#

    • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls.
    • Plan meetings and record detailed notes.
    • Draft and send emails, memos, letters, and forms.
    • Research businesses and venues for event requirements.
    • Keep contact lists organized.
    • Prepare reports and assist with general administrative tasks.
    • Update office policies and procedures.
    • Provide support during event planning and on-site at events.

    What you'll need#

    • Previous experience as an administrative or event assistant.
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to manage your time and prioritize work effectively.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
