    About the role#

    CASA DE LA FAMILIA is looking for an intern to join our team in Santa Ana. This role supports our administration and community outreach efforts. You will help with daily operations and assist with our mental health events. This is an unpaid internship. We ask for a commitment of at least 10 hours per week for a 6 month period.

    What you'll do#

    • Answer and direct phone calls.
    • Organize and schedule appointments.
    • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
    • Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, and forms.
    • Prepare regularly scheduled reports.
    • Update and maintain office policies.
    • Order office supplies and research new suppliers.
    • Maintain contact lists.
    • Provide general support to the administration.
    • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
    • Provide support before and during community mental health events.
    • Research and maintain a list of community mental health events.

    What you'll need#

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
    • Proven experience as an administrative assistant.
    • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
    • Working knowledge of office equipment.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
    • Strong time management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
    • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
