About the role#
The Events Intern will work with the team at Atlas Network to plan and execute conferences, seminars, workshops, and social gatherings. You will gain experience in the operations of a non-profit organization while supporting events that take place across the globe.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to organize events and manage logistics like venue selection, transportation, and accommodation.
- Coordinate with vendors including caterers, audio-visual technicians, and decorators.
- Manage guest lists, registrations, and RSVPs while providing support to attendees.
- Create marketing materials such as flyers, social media posts, and email campaigns.
- Provide on-site support during events to coordinate with staff and resolve issues.
- Maintain event files, budgets, invoices, and post-event evaluations.
- Collect feedback from attendees and team members to help improve future events.

Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time internship for Winter 2027.
- The role is based in Arlington, Virginia.
- This position follows a hybrid work schedule with a preference for applicants who can regularly work from the office.
