About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as a primary point of contact for residents and prospective clients. This role focuses on maintaining high occupancy levels through resident retention and leasing efforts. You will work on-site in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and must be available to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. This is a paid, temporary position that requires living on-site at the community.
What you'll do#
- Act as a customer service ambassador by ensuring resident needs are met.
- Complete lease applications and manage lease file paperwork.
- Keep lease file documentation accurate and up to date.
- Help plan and execute community events.
- Assist the Community Manager with various property projects.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Handle administrative front desk tasks and participate in required training.
- Perform on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Capability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Preference for candidates with experience in administrative, reception, or leasing roles.
