About the role#
This is a full-time Student Barista position with Aramark at Middle Tennessee State University. We are looking for students to join our team on a rolling basis. This role is paid and requires on-site work.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items by following standardized recipes and directions.
- Set up workstations, including prep tables, service counters, hot wells, and steam tables.
- Serve food to customers while ensuring guest satisfaction and anticipating their needs.
- Store food properly according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness by breaking down and sanitizing workstations.
- Replenish food items to keep stock at appropriate levels.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- You must have or be willing to acquire a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- This role is open to students in majors such as Business Administration, Nursing, Public Health, and Health Administration.
