About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as a customer service ambassador for the community. You will help the team reach occupancy goals by leasing current and future apartment availability. This position requires a collaborative approach and a dedication to resident satisfaction.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and answer incoming leasing calls.
- Determine client needs and preferences to present apartment homes effectively.
- Use feature and benefit selling to close sales and follow up with leads.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Participate in lease file audits and required training programs.
- Assist with planning community events and various property projects.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path.
- Handle on-call responsibilities, including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
- Perform administrative front desk tasks.
- Work evenings and weekends.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college with a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Must be a current or future resident of the community and live on the assigned floor.
- Valid driver license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including interior and exterior spaces.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to embody company culture and core values.

- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.

- Compensation: Hourly rate plus bonus eligibility.
