About the role#
This internship provides an early career opportunity within the JLL Capital Markets group. You will join a team focused on providing strategic advice to clients regarding their real estate investments. As an intern, you will work alongside analysts to support investment and acquisition projects, gaining insight into the commercial real estate industry through research and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with market research by obtaining and analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support the valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
- Assist with the due diligence process for transactions.
- Design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums.
- Create charts and graphics to support team projects.
- Gather data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles.
- Provide general assistance to the team as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a college or university junior, graduating in Summer 2028.
- Permanent US work authorization.
- Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-player attitude.
- High attention to detail and self-motivation.
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.
