About the role#
The Enterprise Strategy team shapes the long-term direction and growth priorities for CVS Health. As an intern, you will contribute to high-priority strategic initiatives and collaborate with leaders across the organization. This 10.5-week program offers exposure to executive-level strategy development and provides mentorship from experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to support strategic business initiatives.
- Research healthcare industry trends, market dynamics, emerging competitors, and innovation opportunities.
- Develop insights and recommendations that inform growth strategies and executive decision-making.
- Support the creation of presentations, business cases, and strategic communications for senior leadership.
- Analyze internal and external data to identify opportunities for business growth and operational improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Finance, Operations, Product, and Business Units.
- Participate in strategic planning discussions and leadership meetings.
- Assist with tracking key strategic priorities and business objectives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MBA, MS, or similar degree with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Academic focus in Healthcare Management, Public Health, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.
- 0-5 years of post-undergraduate work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Interest in healthcare strategy, innovation, and business transformation.
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
- Ability to work independently and build relationships across teams.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship running from May 24th to August 4th.
- The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in either Wellesley, MA or New York, NY (Park Ave).
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
