About the role#
This internship provides experience in the commercial real estate sales environment. You will support leasing brokerage activities by assisting with projects that help the team and clients make informed decisions. You will gain exposure to sourcing, securing, and servicing clients on both the Occupier and Landlord sides of the business.
What you'll do#
- Support senior brokers with business development by reaching out to new leads.
- Manage prospect data and organize historical client activity.
- Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for client presentations.
- Prepare offering materials and pitch decks for new business pursuits.
- Read, review, and abstract real estate documents like leases and operating expense statements.
- Build and use Excel-based analytical tools and financial models.
- Shadow senior brokers during transaction negotiations, evaluations, and documentation.
- Act as a technology champion by supporting the use of brokerage software and CRM programs.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Previous internship experience in a professional environment.
- Permanent US work authorization.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Analytical skills to interpret qualitative and quantitative information.
- Strong organization and time management skills to handle tight deadlines.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career as a commissioned Broker.
- Experience with CRM programs and strong project management skills.
- A hands-on, team-player attitude with a focus on execution.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 - August 13, 2027).
- Employment: Full-time paid internship.
