About the role#
The Investment Banking Summer Associate role is a full-time position for Summer 2027 based in Atlanta. You will join the Business Services group to gain exposure to investment banking services including mergers and acquisitions, private placements, refinancings, and leveraged buyouts. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior professionals in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Work on a variety of transactions across different client industries.
- Research and analyze financial statements.
- Evaluate general and industry-specific economic conditions.
- Assess acquisitions and divestitures.
- Examine investment attributes of both public and private securities.
What you'll need#
- You must be an MBA candidate graduating in 2028.
- A foundational knowledge of and interest in corporate finance.
- Strong work ethic and proven leadership skills.
- Ability to work well with others and communicate across all organizational levels.
- A fundamental understanding of valuation theory and methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Generative AI tools to improve productivity.
