About the role#
As a Summer Associate in the Financial Restructuring group, you will work on creditor- and debtor-side restructurings and distressed M&A transactions. You will join deal teams that typically include a managing director, vice president, associate, and financial analyst. This role offers exposure to various financial advisory and investment banking products across multiple industries.
What you'll do#
- Advise companies and stakeholders in both out-of-court and in-court restructurings.
- Raise debt and equity financing for clients.
- Provide advisory services for distressed M&A transactions.
- Advise on special situations involving elements of distressed investing.
- Participate in complex negotiations on behalf of clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program at a top accredited institution, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory.
- Keen analytical capabilities and strong financial analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A motivated, creative, and outgoing approach to teamwork.
