About the role#
This Summer Associate position within the Financial Restructuring Group offers exposure to a range of investment banking products. You will join deal teams that typically include a managing director, vice president, associate, and financial analyst. The role involves significant responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our business.
What you'll do#
- Work on creditor-side and debtor-side restructurings.
- Provide distressed M&A advisory services.
- Advise companies and stakeholders in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings.
- Raise debt and equity financing.
- Advise on special situations that involve distressed investing.
- Participate in complex negotiations on behalf of our clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MBA program at a top accredited institution, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory.
- Keen analytical capabilities and financial analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A motivated, creative, and outgoing personality.
