About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern on the Gringotts North team, you will contribute to the Open Banking Connected Accounts Dashboard. This mobile app feature provides customers with real-time visibility into their linked external bank accounts and sync status. You will work within a collaborative team to build mobile interfaces, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Develop, test, and maintain features for the Open Banking Connected Accounts Dashboard.
- Write clean, maintainable code across the stack, including frontend UI and backend microservices.
- Participate in design sessions and conduct peer code reviews to maintain quality and security standards.
- Conduct unit, component, and integration testing to ensure reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers while learning to build AWS cloud infrastructure.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher, with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or later.
- Familiarity with application development using any mobile language.
- Good understanding of testing fundamentals.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and participate in discussions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Majors considered include Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Cybersecurity.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days in the office per week).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with an expected annual salary range of $45,000 to $85,000.
