About the role#
This is a full-time, 12-month Business Analyst Student position for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Mississauga, Ontario, supporting data initiatives and process improvements across our ecommerce and supply chain teams.
What you'll do#
- Lead and support data migration projects, moving data from SQL Server environments to enterprise data warehouses like IHUB.
- Build and maintain data integration pipelines connecting sources such as Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions using tools like Power BI, ThoughtSpot, and Tableau.
- Use Agile methodology to manage the analysis, design, development, and testing of key initiatives.
- Map current business processes, create simulation models, and build new workflows.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficiency and support decision-making.
- Facilitate business reviews and brainstorming sessions.
- Contribute to process documentation and participate in RFX processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program for Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
- Previous experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data science.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, and Visio.
- Experience acting as a liaison between multiple stakeholders.
- Skills in Project and Change Management.
- Knowledge of transportation business, financial concepts, or courier and carrier operations is an asset.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management and data visualization tools is an asset.
