About the role#
Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises is looking for a part-time graduate student assistant to join the Validation of Short and Long-Term Oven Aging Procedures research project. You will work under the supervision of Dr. Nicole G. Elias. This role focuses on data analysis and statistical modeling. A background in pavement or civil engineering is not required.
What you'll do#
- Perform data analysis and statistical modeling.
- Conduct equality-line assessments.
- Run ANOVA and interaction analysis.
- Execute Tukey pairwise comparisons and Two One-Sided Tests (TOST).
- Explore potential machine learning applications.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Cal Poly student.
- Experience with statistical analysis and software like R Studio.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Skills in instructional design using Canvas and Kaltura.
- Experience with Minitab statistical software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A responsible and dependable work ethic.
- The ability to collaborate with students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
- A motivated and innovative approach to your work.

- This is an on-site, part-time role.
