About the role#
Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises is hiring two undergraduate student assistants to support a Soil Science Research Project. You will work under the supervision of Dr. Miranda Aiken within the Plant Science Department. This position may count for internship credit if approved by your department chair or internship coordinator.
What you'll do#
- Prepare samples for research.
- Perform laboratory analysis.
- Collect and process data.
- Help prepare and present posters.
- Assist with writing manuscripts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Cal Poly Pomona student in good standing.
- Preference for Plant Science majors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in laboratory environments.
- Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
