About the role#
Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises is hiring a Student Assistant to join the NSF CISE MSI DP project, Multimodal User-centric Mobility Scooter Safety Assessment System. You will work within the Computer Science Department under the supervision of Dr. Tingting Chen.
What you'll do#
- Assist with AI application systems designed to assess the safety of mobility scooter users.
- Collect, process, and analyze research data.
- Prepare project documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year university undergraduate program.
- A major in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Preference is given to students currently enrolled in graduate school or those pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset.
