Software Intern

About the role#

Cadence is seeking a Software Intern to join a small team focused on research and development. You will work on machine learning technologies specifically applied to on-chip parasitic modeling. This position is a full-time, paid internship.

What you'll do#

• Conduct research and development using machine learning technologies.
• Implement algorithms designed to process large data sets.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical problems.
• Contribute to challenging projects within the technology sector.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Physics.
• Proficiency in C/C++ coding.
• Practical knowledge of UNIX shell and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• A strong background in algorithms and experience processing large amounts of data.
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art machine learning technologies; experience with parasitic modeling is a plus.
• Ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment.
