About the role#
Join the Cadence Design Systems Customer Success Team for a summer 2027 internship. You will work alongside technical experts and peers in a cohort-based program. This role provides insight into how a global technology company operates and how teams solve complex engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Participate in hands-on training for system and package design, digital and analog IC design, and simulation.
- Gain experience in physical design, analog layout, advanced verification, and hardware emulation.
- Explore the application of artificial intelligence across various design disciplines.
- Learn fundamentals of design, verification, synthesis, and timing analysis.
- Work with UNIX, C/C++, and scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Python.
- Study digital and analog physical design, implementation, and signoff analysis for timing, IR drop, power, and signal integrity.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related STEM field at an accredited university.
- Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously.
- Strong communication, presentation, assessment, and analytical skills.
- Experience with electronic design automation (EDA) tools, foundational silicon, package or board design, or AI use cases is preferred.
