About the role#
This is a part-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Westminster, Colorado. You will join the team for a 12-week program focused on research, development, test, and evaluation projects for the United States Space Force. This role requires you to work on-site.
What you'll do#
- Build systems to support RF collection through the development, test, and deployment of antenna systems.
- Run simulations and analyses to verify system performance and quality using MBSE applications.
- Create and update system diagrams, wiring diagrams, power budgets, RF link budgets, and bills of materials.
- Develop and present design reviews and prepare project progress presentations.
- Participate in R&D activities to improve system designs and functionality.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Visio.
- Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software, as well as Python or MATLAB.
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
