About the role#
This internship program offers students in the George Mason Scholars Program a chance to work on technical projects over the summer. You will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and explore different facets of the organization. Interns develop real-world technical skills, expand their professional network, and learn about potential career paths.
What you'll do#
- Engage in meaningful projects across a variety of technical capabilities.
- Work on assignments that may include signals intelligence, enterprise business systems, and data analytics.
- Receive structured mentoring while contributing fresh ideas and initiative to your team.
- Collaborate with others while also managing independent tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at George Mason University as an active GMU Scholar.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer term.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
