    About the role#

    CACI is hiring Engineering Interns to support the GROUPER contract, which focuses on research, development, test, and evaluation for the United States Space Force. You will work under the guidance of a technical manager on projects related to radio frequency collection and antenna systems. This internship lasts 12 weeks, beginning in May 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Support RF collection through the development, test, and deployment of antenna systems.
    • Conduct advanced simulations and analyses to verify system performance and quality using MBSE applications.
    • Create and maintain system diagrams, wiring diagrams, power budgets, RF link budgets, and bills of materials.
    • Develop and present design reviews to communicate technical progress.
    • Prepare documentation to support research and development initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, and Visio, as well as SolidWorks/CAD and Python/MATLAB.

    • This position is located in Sterling, Virginia.
    • Work is 100% on-site.
    • This is a paid, part-time internship.
