About the role#
WEC Energy Group is hiring an ADMS Network Modeler intern for the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in either Green Bay or Pewaukee, Wisconsin. You will work alongside experienced team members to support the systems that keep energy flowing to our customers.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain network displays for distribution, substation, and transmission views.
- Perform SCADA mapping of electrical devices.
- Analyze and validate auto-generated views.
- Review imported GIS information, troubleshoot errors, and develop solutions.
- Promote model changes into the ADMS network.
- Assist with symbols and symbol profiles within the ADMS system.
- Review and confirm network model and substation validations based on business standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- A graduation date after July 2027.
- A minimum GPA of 2.8.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

- Compensation: $23.10 to $27.55 per hour.
