About the role#
As a Manufacturing Development Intern, you will join the Advanced Technologies group in Lynchburg. You will work on projects related to nuclear reactors, rocket propulsion, and radioisotope production. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop and deliver engineering solutions for nuclear environments.
- Create and update technical drawings and procedures.
- Design, test, and analyze systems.
- Manage projects and procure materials as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Physics, Mechanical, Computer, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, Aerospace, or Biomedical Engineering.
- You must be a U.S. citizen.

- Location: Lynchburg, Virginia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay: $21.50 to $29.50 per hour.
