About the role#
IAT Insurance Group is hiring a Business Application Support Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time internship designed to provide hands-on experience with enterprise systems and technical support operations. You will work alongside our BAS and Service Desk teams to maintain system functionality and support our various business units.
What you'll do#
- Support business units by working with our enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues as a member of the Service Desk team.
- Research resolutions and assist BAS and Service Desk analysts.
- Prepare training materials and update job aids.
- Help prepare monthly system release notes.
- Take on projects as assigned by the support team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring VISA sponsorship.
- Ability to complete the full 10-week program from May 24, 2027, to July 30, 2027.
Location & details#
- Locations: Naperville, IL; Rolling Meadows, IL; or Milwaukee, WI.
- Modality: Hybrid (in-office Monday through Wednesday, remote Thursday and Friday).
- Compensation: $17 to $20 per hour, depending on class standing, major, and location.
