About the role#
Heidelberg Materials offers a summer internship for students interested in the construction materials industry. What you'll do#
- Learn the operational aspects of managing a quarry or sand and gravel site.
- Evaluate production equipment and mine layouts.
- Assist with financial reporting, cash flow modeling, and M&A analysis.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in core business areas including operations optimization, quality control, sales, maintenance, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and an openness to change.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to motivate teams while managing multiple projects.
